anybody know how to get the smarty smoke off my new cargo trailer. i let it go without cleaning for about 1 month and can not find anything to cut it now.

does the paint need to stay on? :)

Cleaner wax or simple green might work. I'd try the wax first, then keep it waxed or get a turn-down.

just thinking about a turn down. do they really help?you would think the smoke would just hit the road then still go all over your trailer. maybe that , the new beta software, and some wax will be the answer.

I have had excellent results cleaning my white enclosed car trailer with purple "Super Clean". Used to be sold by Castrol, now just called "Super Clean". Purple jug sold in Advanced Auto Parts stores.

Try a product called B52. It works a little better than the Super Clean or simple green, but it is a bit harsher. If it doesn't work try some aluminum brite from Napa. Its safe on most paint. It is however a very strong acid.

I use something called Westley's BLECHE-WITE. Comes in a half gallon jug you mix in a spray bottle. Spray it on the smokey places, wait a while and hose it off. Most time's, no scrubbing is needed too remove the smoke leftovers. But it also removes wax so keep that in mind where you spray the stuff.

Be careful with GoJo or any of the hand cleaners most have Pumice in them witch is great for hand cleaning but not so on good paint finishes. I have had good luck with WD40.

when i had my racing stripes put on,the graphics place took my soot off with rubbing alcohol. just put a little on a rag and wipe it off. my paint is fine.

Once you get it clean, you could always spray it with PAM to keep the soot from sticking again. Sounds goofy, but it'd work.

just use some eagle one wheel cleaner its works spray it on scrub a couple times and spray it off very easy and you can do it while you are cleaning your wheels
