I'm not hitting the rev limiter because if I turn the speedometer off I can reach 128mph (gps). I'll try setting it again.

Thanks-Jon

jonking went to a gear ratio calculator for my truck with g56(. 79 overdrive), 35inch tall tires and 3. 73 gears. at 3500 it was 124mph. did the same calculation for your truck with auto(. 69 overdrive, 35inch tires and 3. 73 gears came up with 142mph.

enafziger what special gear ratio do you have? 100mph? 2300rpms? LOL

I have 3. 73 gears with a G56 transmission. I'm running 37" Toyos, and I just added a Mitchell overdrive unit, which gives an additional 18. 2% overdrive. With the OD engaged, it effectively turns a 3. 73 ration rear end into a 3. 07.

Thus,

2300 rpm = 104 mph
3200 rpm = 145 mph
4000 rpm = 180 + mph

Or, in more realistic terms, 75 mph is 1650 rpm, which equals better fuel mileage! Well, hopefully anyways. I just got the Mitchell unit installed, and I'll see what it does for mileage. :)

I don't anticipate I'll ever see how the truck handles at top speed anymore...

Bad idea IMO But to get the 4k program you have to meet the "requirements" to support the TnT/R program... ...

You have to meet the requirements? to get it. I think anyone can download that on their SMARTY. maybe to get full benefit from it you have to meet the requirements. But you can load that on a bone stock truck. am I correct Bob.

THE TNT/R race program is vin locked and only given out on special request.

and yes aftermarket valve springs are mandatory.
