Smarty SSR question

I am looking for a Smarty SR for my '04.5, but there are a couple SSRs in my area that are really cheap. The SSR is overkill for my stock truck, but can you download the SR program into it? The price difference is substantial.

You cant load the s06 software into the SSR. The firmware is different.
