Just picked up my SMARTY yesterday from Olee and man what a world of difference. I fell in love with my truck all over again. The difference that programmer made in my truck is absolutely phenominal - can't even begin to describe it. Who would have ever thought the VP44 could fuel like a P7100 but the Smarty does it. We'll be doing some track and dyno testing this week. Drag box and smarty are an awesome combo.

With all the swag on your truck, Your just now getting a smarty? :-laf

But it keeps getting harder to get to that "next level" thrill. The smarty was a pleasant surprise.

It was definitely a long time coming. Wish I'd done it a long time ago. It definitely added another thrill level to my truck.

keep us posted on how you find it on the dyno and the 1/4 mile. and what settings you are running with the combo.

i am looking at one myself but i really dont want any more smoke, Don M has that covered :-laf

I run the Smarty on 8 and my box on 1x2 or 2x2. Runs smooth. Get one - I guarantee you won't regret it. Anybody think this thing will help on 60ft??

AFarmer,

the reason i was asking was, i heard a guy running a smarty stacked with a drag comp and he lost 40hp on the dyno, i have no idea what settings he was running but i heard he tried a few. and it was on a twin truck.

I don't see how in the world he could loose power. If you run the Smarty on 9 with the box he probably would loose power because he'd be running double timing. Might be a dumb question on my part but do you think there is anyway to just run the edge for fuel and not timing?? I'm pretty sure that's not possible but it never hurts to ask.

i don't thing you can run just fuel on an Edge.

thats why i was asking about 1/4 mile and dyno numbers, it is hear say, i do not know all the info on the combo settings, it's just what he said.

keep us posted

last time I heard 40 it was only 17 and yes it was from to much timing

you may be right bob... ... i am sure it went through 10 people before it got to me

you know the old fish that got away story..... it was a 10" fish, but by the time it got to you it was 4ft long :-laf

it could, i think the smarty stacked with a drag comp would really have alot of top end power, the smarty will keep pulling right past 3300rpm, i had the warning on a juice attitude for the RPM set at 3200, first test drive i changed it to 3500 because smarty blew right past 3200.

Would a regular edge comp perform the same as the drag comp if you weren't using setting 5x5 in this situation (stacked with a smarty).

I was thinking that the only difference between a regular comp and a drag comp was that on 5x5 it didn't follow the stock defueling curve at upper rpms...

Yes the drag on 5x5 does not defuel till 3200 where a reg comp start defueling at 2700 or 2750? Levels 1-4 are the same for both boxes

Yes the Smarty is a wonderfull thing!

Makes the truck so much more fun to drive... . Level 6 on the Juice with the Smarty on 8 makes for some very hot tires :-laf

And OMG smoke

My truck hasn't smoked that much since it had a single :D

I'll get some new dyno #'s and time slips this weekend in Ogden.

Those vvv are without the Smarty. and only 95hp sticks. Bye bye clutch!!

The hot juice with a smarty runs good , add a redline and its nice also just keep it @ 75%

We put mine in a buddys truck @ scheids hit 396+ with just smarty 150 hx40 , turned the TST on and it went to 411 , he couldnt beleive it on the road thought it was another truck . . Best thing to hit the VP trucks
