Marco, does SW#9 mean the same program as the current Catcher ECM we all use?

Hey what you'r doing still there? It's late nite over there. Shouldn't you have some sleep? :D

For NOW, yes. Later we'll see if WE want it to be different.

Remember, now we can simply update Smarty...

Will, I will have my smarty today and the other beta boxes are in transit and will be in the beta testers hands by Friday.

Oo. Oo. :D  :--)

A new item on the top of my gotta have it list. Fuel saver plus power when I want it?

Thanks Marco, hope all goes well with the beta testers.

One question... ... ... Where do I input my credit card number :)

You didn't see the card swipe on the side?

I think one of the features that was supposedly added was a card swipe that will automatically convert dollars to horsepower.

It saves you all the hassle of the middle man:)

Could permission be granted to the beta testers to chime in now? AS in Hohn running the fuel saver program.

Oh I was supposed to test fuel savings???

Sorry, I've been making my rear tires balder with it, so I don't have much data yet. .

I'm being a good boy with this tank.

First hwy run with the new ECM netted 22. 8 @ 72mph. That's my best mpg ever at that speed. Normally, I'd have to run 65 or slower to get MPG that good.

This isn't the best MPG test configuration, though, as this particular ECM doesn't have cruise control (my 02 is electronic, and this ECM doesn't support it).

So I can't say if it's the ECM programming or the fact that I didn't get to use CC at all that accounts for the higher MPG.

That said, it's been my experience with my truck that using the CC usually HELPS mpg, not hurts. (this is the opposite of my gasser car, where using CC usually hurts a little bit).

Yep, I'm ready... . And guess what!!! I have added propane injection to the old BBQ wagon for a hotter and more even smoking of the old donkey... . Ain't nothing like a Texas Donkey BBQ. (AKA. A. . eating meeting) LAMO.

I want one of those Smartys too. I've been waiting for some one to come out with a way to turn off the multi injection events on the 04. 5s. I like being able to adjust the torque management. I can control the torque with my foot. Adding timing is also good with the retarded timing on the 04. 5s.

You have my order.

What if: Our truck breaks down, gets towed to DC and a flash is done while being repaired. If we were unable to use the smarty to return the ecm to stock mode prior to the breakdown, Is our smartie deamed useless?

Ok so What does the SMARTY stand for. CATCHER was the clutch and traction... ok, so I don't remember what it stood for, but is there a hidden definition in SMARTY?
