Smarty vs. Smarty Jr.

Why do I see most people recommending the Smarty Jr. over the Smarty. Is there something wrong with the Smarty or does the Jr. offer a feature that the Smarty doesn't.

The only thing I can think of is the Jr. costs about half what the Smarty costs, and if all you want is to "Econo-BoMB" your truck (IOW for fuel economy) it makes no sense to buy the Sr vs the Jr.

Its really depends on what your ultimate goal is. Smarty Jr. is a simple tool for the average user that does not need all the funing features of the full Smarty.



The price difference is only 190. 00 but the list of tuning features is endless and will always be growing.



Both products are full code reader in plain text and each adjust the abs for speedometer calibration.



Both products also reduce egt's and should improve fuel economy.
