I am surprised! Since my Banks died I missed the extra power so I cranked up the Smarty to SW7 and let her eat..... it didn't slip the clutch at all WTF?! I thought it was goin to eat it alive since guys can't run past 3 without slipping! Cool But I do miss the pressure added to the rail from the Banks and it seemed stronger up top with the Banks stack as well. The pressure from SW3 and Banks on 3 was max of 22500 to only 15K on SW3. Pressure on SW7 = 21k... . So since I have the harness and everything else I'm gonna be looking for a used Banks and plug it in I guess... . Oh yea and it defiantly rolls a lot more coal on SW7! I sure could use an aftermarket fuel pump now! Oo.

A lot of guys are adding the MP8 to fine tune the pressure in cab.

I ran SW7 without slipping this past 6 months. I just added an AD150 this past weekend and my first WOT run last night the clutch can not hold it anymore, dropped back to 5.

Pressure w/ stock lit pump used to drop to 2-3psi on 7. Now I can not pull it down past 12psi.

It sounds like your problem is fuel delivery if you can only hit 21k on RP level 3. On a wide open run, I can hit 23k on RP level 2.

I'd do a lift pump and/or big line kit first before adding even more fueling...

Thats what I'm thinking but with the Banks I can peg the RP gauge to 26k easy on anything over #3 on it. So I dunno, I'm pretty sure my truck doesn't have the fuel for SW7 but its not draining the rail either though.

I freakin' LOVE my TST w/ my Smarty... you've got an '03, so it's a good stack on that truck.

pegging 26k easy isn't so easy on the injectors

if anything, maybe use an MP8? but I love the TST... crank up the torque on the TST and rail pressure actually ramps up quicker and holds harder than with it turned down (figure that one out!?)

Your Smarty can get a REVO program with a lot of options. Lots of rail pressure will be hard on injectors over the long run, no matter whose box or program you use. It just happens that Smarty tells you and some others remain silent on that issue. The torque management of the Smarty is where you will get the low end power (torque) that slips the clutch, and often a lot of smoke if you use a wild setting.

I have Revo programing..... Its on sw7 at the moment and I just miss the grunt it had with more power on sw3 and #3 on the Banks. With an extra 5k on the pressure it sure makes a difference... . And yea I know its not easy on things But the Banks has been on the truck since 20k miles with no probs with the pressure... . I'm lookin into the TST at the moment if I can't get the Banks working again.....

Forrest_ Love your truck man, sweet rig! What kind of pressure are you seeing with the Smarty TST stack?
Thanks for all of you help guys!

depends on what settings I'm running, how full the tank is, and what kind of mood the CP3 is in

I usually run around w/ the Smarty TNT-Race on #9 with moderate rail, TST on power level 4, and I'll see anywhere from 20-22. 5k at WOT w/ a small set of injectors
