Tuning 98.5 for economy

Fuel pressure gauge

Just installed my Smarty last week, Starting on sw1 and working up.
Going to make the " Smiles" last
( When a Kid,I use to eat my desert in small pieces to make the enjoyment last )

1st time I drove it ( The Turbo lag is Gone ) Smile.....

Plan to stay with sw 1 fow a few hundred miles too see what effect it has on
mileage. Did spin the wheels and get sideways in a little rain, cant
imagine what sw 9 would have done...

AND, I hate to admit it: Feel like a kid again when I drive, Like 45 years
ago in a souped up 56 chev , Some live left in this old 68'er, me.
Can't wait untill it's time for SW3... .

You can stack the 2 roland, not sure what to keep each box at for best results though. Do a search because it has bee talked about a lot

I would get one again no doubt about it

can you stack the smarty with the edge comp box. and if so what would you keep the smarty set at?

I currently have this setup (borrowing a smarty for the time being). Have it on SW8 and the edge on 5x5, and well, nothing but smiles. Unfortunately it puts so much torque to the wheels so low in the RPM, it slips the clutch. But I must say, it sure makes the truck a whole new beast.

What you want to do is run it on the even number sw packages with it stacked with the Comp. The even number sw's do not add timing, because the Comp adds timing already. The odd sw's add timing and you dont want to double the added timing.

I have the Six Gun and am pretty happy with it, but I would love to try a Smarty, I wonder if there are any guys around the San Fernando valley that might be willing to give me a sample. If I ever got one I would not want to run it with any other box, just by itself do you really need to stack it with anything, or is it good enough by itself?

ive got a friend that has the 6 gun and the Smarty in his '03, and he loves it! he just hates the fact that he is going to have to replace his clutch soon! it runs great by itself, but holy cow, when you stack it with something else, thats when it gets really fun!

I think the stacking business is mostly for the 2nd Gen crowd with the VP44, where you have to tap the pump wire to get lots more fuel.

Smarty with honed injectors makes my trans go:eek: cant hardly wait for my trans to go out so I can upgrade it sounds wierd but damn this thing RocksOo. Can hardly wait to try something over level 3 Randy
