Anyone have used items off of a wrecked truck for sale?

How about a smarty? I have seen them periodically on here and am hoping to get lucky!

They do show up every once in a while, probably less now with the user selectable tuning. A used one won't have warranty, not that a person will really need it, but with the luck you have had lately maybe new would be better?

Just a thought... if the truck had been smartied at the time of the wreck, wouldn't the box be VIN coded to the wreck? As in the wreck would have to be deprogrammed to clear the smarty?

could be. I'm not necessarily lookin for a wrecked smarty, just a used one.

Yes, the wreck would have to be set back to stock to unlock the Smarty.

I would think that someone if they were selling a smarty it is going to have to be a smarty. (not vin locked on wrecked vehicle). as for buying a used one as long as the connectors are good to go and all buttons work and you can read the screen your good. not alot to go bad. lets think worst case if my smarty was to all of asudden go bad and not load. im out of warranty on mine but I know I can send it off and get it reloaded alot cheaper than the price of a new smarty. plus the person selling it is he a TDR member that says alot to me also. you can always have the person to agree if you have problems upon recieving you get money back. .
