Interesting, my TST was stronger every where and I would have to be careful or it would try to spin the tires on take off if towing. It smoked down low more too.
I didn't realize the TST was boost dependent. How does it do that since it didn't monitor boost anyplace? Does it just follow the stock boost mapping?

its been a long time since I had a TST. Twins are almost required to keep EGT's under control with it but from what I remember it plugs in to the MAP sensor.

That does ring a bell - I seem to remember that harness going all over the eng and hooking up with the MAP sensor.
I was sure glad to get that nasty harness off my engine. No codes since!

Yes, the TST taps the MAP and injector harnesses both. It runs off of boost and I think rpm to decide its fueling curve.

The early TST 03 twins program was all in at 12 psi boost, the later programs including the current 03 twins was/is less aggressive than the original. There were a few folks (Tomeygun for one), who claimed Mark Chapple built them an 03 twins program that was not boost dependant, and was able to full fuel right off idle. Not sure I believed this, kind of like the folks who claimed to have special/unique TNTR Smarty software...I have a TNTR program with my first and last name right in the software description, comes right up on screen, S04_Revo_TNTR57_Jess_Page, It is vinlocked to my truck, but it is no different than anyone else's TNTR57 version.

I still have my TST R37 connected to my truck, it is turned off (0/0), setting in my ashtray, also have a bypass plug should it fail again...lost my train of thought...where was I going with this?
