Mill question

had a smith PC and it worked great right up till it took a dump and needed a $800 part which exceeded the price of a comparable unit

This may fall under the category of "you get what you pay for". I saved up and bought a miller extreme 375 for around $1300 online. Works beautifully, 110 or 220V. Light, small, and parts won't ever be a problem to get. A little more $ gets you a lot more machine.

scored my harbor freight unit for a little over 500 plus tax, so far it works great and it gets good reviews online, the torch is supposed to be a industry standard unit so consumables are a easy find, to get the deal i got you need to wait for it to go onsale for $650 and combine that with the easily found general 20% off coupon

Yeah i know but i think i can buy this one for $200

Well if you already know what could happen, but feel $200 is a great enough deal to justify it, then buy it. :)

I prefer Thermal Dynamics but a working plasma cutter for $200 can't be too bad of a buy.
