The Outland Sport Bumper Guard is definitely a nice product for mounting lights, but I would definitely not use it to push or pull anything with. Because of this, I was not willing to give up my beefy Mopar tow hooks!
The two accessories mount to the same location of the frame and thus were not intended to be used together. There were two options that I had come up with, however. The first was to have a special bracket fabricated, while the second was to modify the Mopar Tow hook brackets. I was able to drill holes in the sides of the two hook brackets and hang the sport bumper guard directly on these. The angles are not perfect (not quite 90-degrees) with this method and result in a few degrees of flex at the mounting location from the smittybilt, but it is not noticeable and is probably still more sturdy than the smittybilt bracket would have provided.
