Looking at the wheel from the drivers side of the pump. Move the top of the star wheel away for you for more smoke (low end fuel), toward you for less. Or as viewed from back of pump Clockwise for more, CCW for less.

or you can do like me and remove the rack stop inside the afc housing to get full underboost control! got smoke? is the only other person i know who's done it (well, daniel too).

Re-check your info Rammer:-laf

I reinstalled mine because it was killing my mileage. I may play with the star wheel a little now that my timing has been advanced though!;)

well, i don't lose boost between shifts;) i haven't noticed my mileage going down the drain, but i haven't been keeping an eye on it too much (now the fuel guage is acting up though:mad: ). i might put it back some as i only use the smoke for idiot drivers that cut people off, around tdr members, or on some back roads.
