Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) smoke and no smoke

Ok guys i am quite confussed here. For the last few weeks my 98 24 valve with an ez will blow absolutely no smoke when i stomp on it and then 10 minutes later it will blow a rediculous amount of smoke. but i can get it to blow smoke very often any more. I think it is a fuel related issue. I just replaced the fuel filter with no changes. Is it the vp44. I need help.

What is your fuel pressure?



Could be a bad EZ as well.

My truck smokes more with a cold engine. It also smokes more with colder OAT's.
