I'm wondering why i'm not getting the smoke i thought i'd get, the guy i got the injectors off of had a bigger turbo=more air/lesssmoke, and he could pillow out black smoke, with no fuel mods and two exhaust exits, mine basically goes away after the initial stomp on the gas, dirty fuel filter maybe?

I can run the comp on 5x5 and if i ease into the throttle to wot i get no smoke, the only tiem i get smoke is if i just mash on it quickly... i also have stock turbo so i figured i'd have like unreal amounts of smoke. . this is why i'm stumpted as to why i don't smoke more. .

hmm maybe i'll g ograb a turbo off of a big rig :D and have lotsa and lotsa smoke Oo.

but with these injectors should i be getting a lot of smoke? or no? with my setup and are their other boxes that can create a lot of smoke when wanted... such as the tst power max or blue chip

me to, i feel the power they are supposed to give, but the smoke is lacking, i have a resonator on my exhaust, i doubt that is keeping the smoke back, but i guess its a possibilty, other than that i'm surprised the smoke doesn't just keep coming out

hey, if it runs well and EGT's are in check, I wouldn't *****... my junk smokes like a freight train and they pyro races the tach on the big end! :(

I don't want to sound like an idiot, but I can't find any info if you have a different fuel delivery system. I know mine smokes so bad on 5x5 that I can hide my truck in the smoke from people behind me. You have a lot bigger injectors than I do... ... I am just wondering if you are starving for fuel. I would think you have a different fuel system on the truck, that is why I don't want to sound like a bone head for asking.

my fuel system is stock well at least i'm pretty sure, but i dunno if its starving for fuel only because it still runs with a lot of power

Well I know with my comp, I ran the stock system for a sec on 5x5, pressure went from 18psi to 1psi in seconds. I was quickly out of the go pedal. Those injectors have to demand a lot of fuel, and with a comp with the wire tapped, stock fuel system is not going to cut it.

maybe i noticed today i'm smoking more and it really smokes a lot when i have my ac on, i did have a vacuum leak and fixed that doubt its related though but could be, the ugy i go the injectors from had the stock fuel system and his had been a bused a lot longer than mine, and he had lots and lots of smoke coming out

Just kind of curious. Are you wanting the black smoke? The black smoke is a sign of unburnt fuel. So if there is no black smoke your engine is running fine.

what size are you injectors? if there only the supermentals in your siggy, there small, hardly bigger than a dd3 at all,in fact i think dd3s make more smoke and if theres a difference between dd3s and supermentals in power,it is very small. The DD supermentals burn very clean,IMO.

mine are the dd supermenthal 125+ hp and i know they burn cleaner but for making that much more power i'd figure they'd smoke more than they do but o well at stop lights i can still leave a nice cloud

I have the set same exact set. They burn very clean, and personally i think they are barley stronger than the dd3s i replaced. i couldnt feel any difference.

the truck i got them off of said he liked these alot better than the dd3's he had right before and even better than the one he has now, but he got sponsored so he has to run the stuff they give to him, i have n ocomplaints with these though, my turbo spools up so fast now its great
