I have been away from this site for a while. To make a long story short. I am back. So the event has come back to where it started.
For the newer members. This is a meet and greet event. It is restricted to 1st gen vehicles only. The only exceptions is we do allow any conversion vehicle with a VE based 1st gen engine in it. This year the event is on the 4th of Oct. The location is Peru, IN. For members interested in coming. I send out directions and contact numbers 2 weeks before the event.
Now to keep the cost within reason on my end. I ask for people that are coming to bring a large carry in dish or some other type of food item. I provide the main course. As the event gets closer I will list needed items. This years main course is roasted wild hog. Last year there were 75lbs of wild hog that disappeared. :-laf There will also be hamburgers and hotdogs for the people that don't want wild hog.
Now if you have parts for sale or to trade for some other type of parts. List them here. Do not list prices. If you see something a person lists. Take it to PM's. This isn't a buy and sell thread.
Over the years we have cut back on the amount of heavy repairs we do. There just not much time on a single day to do much. If you run into broken parts. Getting replacements might be hard to do on a Sat in the small towns that are close. If your shy about doing pump mods. This is the place to be. We have many that show up that are good with pump mods.
If you wish to camp over night. That is fine. There is plenty of room. If you bring a TT. We can find a spot for that also. No hookups. I can provide numbers for local hotels also. We have people coming in on Friday evenings most of the time. I have a meal setup on Friday nights for them. Most of the times its soups of some type. All home made. On Saturday nights we have a camp fire with a massive B/S session. On Saturday nights we bring in pizza and split the cost up across everyone. Last year I think we picked up 9 or 10 pizza's.

I forgot to mention. On Saturday morning the over night campers convey to a local town for breakfast. There is a pic of the lineup in that town. That town isn't much longer than the line of trucks that was there. :-laf
