:-laf Finally found someone local to show me where the screw was and how to make the proper adjustment. He made a 25 HP adjustment until I get my gauges and 4" after Xmas. What a BIG Oo. difference! Truck was totally stock, didn't know it could run this good by just turning a screw. When I get proper gauges how far can I go without problems?

It all depends, are you married?

on my truck I went up against the lock collar, put in a fuel pin, and put a light weight spring under the afc before I got gauges. I was running a 4" straight pipe and K&N filter at that point though. max egt was 1050* and about 25 lbs boost when I did get the gauges in.

LMAO!!! :-laf Yeah GreenLeaf I saw it... I dread the call at work, there's a box here for you, what did you order this time? The Fed Ex and UPS guys are my buddies. (LOL) :D

I know the UPS guy by name now. We chat. He wants to know what I'm doing next. The Schwan's guy is drooling all over my valve covers :)

I know what you want. New to this and don't know how to add it to my forums.

Truck is a 93 CC 4X4 250 Stock with exception to tires 285/75/16 Firestone MTs and the new screw adjustment. But I have big plans for the New Year

I am married. She picked out the truck. She supports anything I do has long as the budget supports it.

Dude! Does she have a sister? :D With a CTD truck? How about a picture? Of the truck! :-laf

For the sig, go to User Control Panel in the menu, then go to edit signature.

Yes, get your gauges installed before you make anymore performance enhancements. That way you can see how it has changed your various gauge readings and all importantly you will be able to keep an eye on your exhaust temps. Have you read the post at the top of the forum on performance tips?

"without problems"??? Well that depends on your definition of problems doesn't it?

#1 Totally agree on the Wife thing. ROFL Mine has been very supportive. I know her vices too. ;)

#2 Are Smoking tires a problem?

#3 Do you have enough self control to keep out of legal trouble? :-laf

3200 Gov Spring was the best bang for buck I bought. Turbo, POD's, Exhaust, didn't hurt either. :-laf

I actually ended up turning mine down a little to save the tires, and reduce the stoplight smoke. :)

I REALLLLY wish I lived somewhere close to somebody who knows how to make these things run. The only way I can make a tire spin is to rev it up in 2nd and drop the clutch, might get a few feet of tire spin that way. Pulling a trailer ETGs get up some times as well.

They know their Cummins diesels. Good luck. :)

Any body know what i can do to my 90 gen 1 in my burb im building ?

I got it to fire after my problem of no fuel , now i got lots of fuel , raw fuel and tons of smoke and dont idle

Any body have a good book that they can e-male me that shows the enternals of the pump and the prlimenary settings ????

thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks I think I got this figured out now. She (wife) is a real sweatheart, and she has a sister but they aren't anything alike. I got the best of the deal with mine. LEggers were is the gov spring located and how hard is it to replace, What will the change improve?

Happy for you on the wife deal! I'm married anyways. (but always willing to trade up) :-laf

The gov spring is under the top of the pump. The stickeys have a good write up on changing it out. Make sure you check the line up marks on the throttle shaft/ plate. If you don't it will be a PITA to get to start or run. It is not bad job. Change the o-ring on the throttle shaft, they usually leak after they are disturbed. ;)

The spring gives more fuel on the whole power band and gives more top end. Stock winds to 3k no load, fuels to 26-28. With the 32k spring, 3200 no load, about 3k under load.
