And my puter hard drive in the same day :{ :{ :{ I ordered a new turbo from Piers, HX 35 with a 14 cm housing, should be great. I tore the old turbo apart and it was bearing failure on the compressor side, loose as a goose. I dont understan it because I have always let it cooldown to 300* before shutdown, I have heard a strange noise since about 15k it was intermittent and would come and go , well I guess I found it.

The puter is still smoked , guess I will have to save up for it now:{ :{ :{ needless to say the lil woman aint tooo happy with me right now:D

cheers, Kevin

Hah, fixed the truck and say screw the puter. Can't blame you one bit. If only these injectors would go out so I had to buy new ones. ;)

I would try taking it in under warranty first. The worst they can do is deny you. You might get a free turbo. Even if you don't plan to run the stock any more, you could save it for a back up

BUMMER!!!:{

I that I told you to quit smoking out every person that got within 50 yards behind you:D :eek:

Might as well go for and HX-40:cool:

Ha!!

Totally stock turbo... ... ... ... ... ... ... with a turnbuckle on it!!

Sorry to hear the troubles man. But look on the bright side, now you're getting a Piers turbo and don't have to worry about it happening twice.

What happened when it went? Did it strand you out there in the midlle of nowhere? Did you take the Balls off the reciever:D ?

Hope you get her going soon,

Matt

Actually I only made it about a mile out of town when I knew it was bad, I had 0 boost and the egt's went to 1200* quickly, I turned around and went home , the turbo was siezed up, after I took it off I tore it apart and the bearing on the compressor side was toast, didnt look burnt but was way way loose, the blades from both sides chewed up the housings a bit and the blades are alot smaller now:D kinda like a big icecream machine :D

screw the warrenty I didnt even think of DC and thier crap warrenty,

I am my own warrenty station

anyone want to buy a one owner used turbo:eek: :eek: :eek:

You pay the shipping and its yours:)

cheers, Kevin
