Those were nice videos! Do you guys just punch it to get that amount of smoke? What mods do you need to do that? I have an "05". So far with an AFE stage 1 and Aeroturbine muffler. Looking to do Kax Injectors but don't want to void my warranty. All the dealers around my area will void warranty using high flow injectors.

Very very nice - The TST/EZ one seems as though it was never going to stop!!!

Only stopped because I let up. :-laf

Got to keep the boost at 20 psi... any more than that and the turbo really lights off! With the setting I use to make smoke (2x5tst - 5ez)... It will tap 55 psi if I let it light! :--)

I can't wait for the TST/EZ stack. I need some $$$ now!

Anyway, do you guys have the same problem we have in CA?

Anyone can call your plate in, and you can't register your vehicle until it's inspected. Gotta be careful with with the smoke around here...

i havent seen the pics from the bully dog truck pulls, but my truck made huge amounts of smoke for about 100 feet before the twins lit, well i guess it looks like i have power, but only pulled 179' then choked... .

Wow, that really sucks!

I guess if you are gonna lay some coal, it better be enough to block anyone from seeing your plate :D

Holy smokes Tommy! Don't go to California with that thing, they will give you one of those air pollution tickets! :D

Mine smokes like that if I lay into it to pass someone. :D :D

camera??

Off topic - but I am looking to buy a video camera - what type do you guys own to produce these video downloads so quickly?

You should have seen when you guys passed me outside Aberdeen on that rural road - traffic was slowing down or stopped. Then when I got on the interstate I saw the smoke signals from miles away :--)

When you did your pull it was like slow motion and then your truck just took off until you stopped in front of the announcer table blowing piles of smoke and dust. Never seen a guy that big get out of a chair so quickly to avoid the plume :-laf

I owne a canon zr60, its a great cammera, I payed about $400 from best bye. now to edit you video it all depends on what program you use, I like to use widows movie maker. It also depends on the way you safe it in the program on how long it takes to down load. Plus the lenth of the video to plays a part.

how did your pics turn out, i havent seen bears, the smoke signals from bully dog to the fair grounds on the interstate were so all the people could find the pulls, and it worked, i heard some spectators talk about the trip, while dozens of smoke spewing diesel trucks including yours barreled down the interstate leaving a black haze in there wake, i am actually suprised no one got pulled over. it sure was fun, hope to see you at more events. . Oo.

Pics turned out pretty good, except for the fence being in the way of the pulls (my fault though, but beer was tasting good in the shade and I didn't want to move!). Got dyno pics of everyone from Elko too. I was going to put them on a CD, but haven't got around to it yet. Check out www.bhaner.com for vids of all the WA guys pulling as well as BBD and the guy with the stack through the canopy - major smoke!

I heard that there's a dyno day coming up in Meridian, Idaho the last Saturday of August. Last May or so it was $40 for 3 runs or so and they had a guy there with a first gen with 3xx,xxx miles with homemade twins just installed as well as some other nicely set up trucks. At least at Meridian they will not be in such a hurry and you'll get decent graphs to take home as a result  (showing rpms as well as actual and corrected numbers). Heard scuttlebutt at Dog Days that they might have diesel drag races too. I guess Elko is having the fair that weekend too so maybe a sled pull like last year??? I wouldn't mind trying that after watching it. The guys from WA and ID had the right idea coming with lots of tools, spare trailer, spare clutch, etc. just in case!

bring the camera Tom and we can do some tire smoke shows too.

Done, come by my work and we'll get the stacks and the tires both smoking

Course we might blow your little tiny charger in the process

Anyone else got some smokey 3rd gen
My 03 never smoked even with the VA box turned up, but once in a while I get a dark haze with a stab of the throttle on the 05 and its all stock.
