I am not alarmed, but it seems as of late when I drive normally and am accelerating between shifts, I get a black puff of smoke back yonder.
There could be several explanations, but here are the specifics. It just turned 10,000 miles on the odometer, I have not changed the fuel filter, I just had the oil and filter changed, and started noticing it during normal city driving. I am not romping on it unusually hard at all, in fact I am quite solemn in town. My mileage has dropped for two tanks from 20. 4 to 19. 8.
Any ideas? I am running a little experiment now with this tank of fuel by not romping on it at all, shifting at 2000 rpm and going extremely easy on it.
I'll post the results in about 5 days when I refuel.
Thanks in advance.
Toby
