Well I get your point it doesn't take much research to find many issues with the 3rd gen track bars, Im glad yours have not been an issue but they are a fairly well known problem.

Again, people only post problems. When the system works there aren't posts...

I am not saying they are perfect... just pointing out that a few bad reports make more noise than lots of good reports.

Lots of 2nd get track bar problems. I installed a adjustable 3rd gen bar on my 98.

Personally never heard of a 3rd gen track bar problem.

Why didn't you order/purchase the air suspension if you plan to be at GVWR?
It is a leftover 2014, lucky to get it with what I like!

As with anything that always skews the point of view... while many fail at low miles, there are probably many more than don't.

It's not much different than any forum, people generally post their problems. The G56 is a great example, if you read on here it wont make 100K miles but I know many more people with 100K+ miles on their G56 than those who didn't make it that far.

Just my 0.02, nothing is perfect.
The issue with the G56 is not that they break, although a small percentage have had gear issues due to a stretching case when hot and towing over Dodges GCVWR. But the DMF failure and the cost of converting to a SMF as well as transmission inspection, costs lots of money. Most G56 owners, have DMF failure before the clutch wears out. Then it becomes a very noisy transmission. I know many 6.0 PSD owners who have not had issues, so with your theory, there's not a 6.0 problem?

Congrats on the new truck!

I don't think the G56 and 6.0 have anything in common. The G56 has a weak wear item, the 6.0 is just weak.

The DMF just isn't as weak as the internet leads to believe. I think it's a POS and doesn't belong in a diesel pickup, but they aren't as bad as touted.... The 6.0 is that bad. Just my 0.02. My above comments on the G56 is DMF inclusinve.

I used the 6.0 as an example, because it is not as simple as it seems, IF you don't own one. If you search my threads from 07 to 09 you will read where I defended the G56, and I still think it's capable if you keep it cool. But the cost of the Aisin option vrs the standard G56 is less than a DMF replacement. But I not only changed the DMF to a SMF, I installed a Dual Disk clutch and a true transmission cooler. The noise is bearable, but my inner Mechanic screams inside my head. The G56 when new, is better than the NV5600, but if the NV5600 is serviced regularly and operated properly, it will outlast the G56 and haul heavy without incident.
