Slow US Mail...

Been meaning to get some pics of my truck on my website since I bought it..... never has worked out. Gonna try to post some frames I grabbed off my camcorder on here and see how it works!

This one is a rear view showing off my stainless tailgate panel with my custom emblems... . as well as the stainless tailgate handle cover, the top of my full stainless steel tailgate protector, the Putco rear stainless flaps, and the rear view of my toolboxes (with my job-mandated fire extinguisher in full view).

right-side view... . this one is really too small to show everything off-but it's hard to work with 32K... I really need a free photo account somewhere. If you really squint your eyes you can see the stainless C-pillar moldings, the stainless wheelwell moldings, stainless rocker moldings, stainless insert moldings (go where the black trim would on an SLT), the stainless Putco running boards (detecting a theme here yet? :D :D :D)and my toolboxes. The side ones are gone now-waiting for my new ones to come!

This was also taken not that long after I got my 315's on... .

This front view shows my Lund stainless bug deflectors, stainless Cloud Rider inserts (winter solid ones coming soon for the grille), and the notch I had to make in my Sport bumper for my Hidden Hitch front hitch... .

Real nice. Sweet looking rig !!! I really like the Power Wagon badge on the hood and tailgate  . I really wanted my truck to be silver, but the dealer didn't have the 01 colors in when I ordered and had to settle for white, your rig makes me wish I waited !!!

Thanks man!

The 1st time I saw Bright Silver I knew it was the color for me! I really wanted something light to hide the inevitable scratches and dings I knew I'd get on a work truck (but knowing they're coming and dealing with them once they arrive are 2 separate things :( ). If I couldn't have gotten silver I'd have gotten white though... . I kicked around Amber Fire for a while-but it was out of the system by the time I ordered... . didn't really matter as I had it narrowed down to Bright Silver by then anyways :D . I've always liked silvers and grays-my Cherokee is dark grey metallic. I really love that Graphite color that you can get the 2002's in-but it just wouldn't work for me with the conditions the truck sees.

Chrome doesn't show up on the silver all that well though-which is OK-I think all the stainless I have would be too much on a dark-colored truck. One of my bosses figured I should pinstripe along the edge of all my stainless stuff so it would stand out  . He also tagged my truck with the nickname "The Chrome Mountain"-I kinda like that one :p . He drives a crew cab PSD -is currently shopping for a chip to try to keep up to me-little does he know I'm about to pull the trigger on a big BOMB or two...

Thanks for the compliments-I've seen pics of yours too and it's a sweet ride! In my mind you won't find too many Rams that aren't.

How can I get some of those Cummins ISB emblems from Alberta. I love those. That is the first time I have seen them. Also how much are they??? Thank you. Nice truck.

They're only as far away as your local Cummins dealer!

I got mine from Cummins Alberta-when I asked the parts guy about them (I had seen them on here before and I think also on the Cummins Powerstore website) he told me that the engine salesmen had those sorts of items. One overheard our conversation, walked to his office, came back with a pair and handed them to me! No charge-can't beat that. Good advertising for Cummins I guess-YMMV at your local dealer. Can't imagine them being very much though-they're chrome (and red) plated plastic with self-adhesive on the back. They make some that are solid chrome and say "Cummins Power" -someone on here has them on their truck. They're cool too-but the ISB part gets a lot of people asking "What's an ISB?" Haven't made up a good story yet-although 1 guy suggested that I should tell people that the Power Wagon badges were a special factory package that included a fueling box and exhaust :D (the Power Wagon badges were on the truck within 2 hours and 75 km of its coming home)

smooth....

Great looking truck man. I love the sliver when it is a sport package.

Could you post a good picture of the grill insert? I am thinking about getting one, but don't know with yet.

TIA,

AJB

I'll grab one over the weekend-I'm on days off again so I'll fire up my camcorder and see if I can get a shot that will actually transfer OK-I use Pinnacle Studio 400 to grab frames off my Sony Handicam. Not the best by any means-but it'll have to work until I win the lottery to get myself a digital camera :p .

The best way I can explain them to you just by description is that they are a real thin flat piece of stainless steel plate that has a ton of 1/8" wide slots (or so) punched in it to let air flow through. They come with clips that bolt through the insert piece to hold them to the grille. The ones I have were made by Cloud Rider-seems to me that Lund makes them now too-and that the Lund ones have a piece of black edging around them to keep them from scratching the grille (these ones are just a raw stainless edge). For us northern folk they make solid ones for winter use-I'm due pretty quick for a set for the grille-I'll keep the slotted ones in the bumper for airflow to the intercooler.

But I will get you a pic-if I haven't posted one by Monday or so please threaten my life  as once again my memory has failed me-it's pretty good but really short :D .

I really like your truck

Cool truck. Let me geuss, Your still single? Or your wife is really cool. Either way your really lucky.

Single indeed....

... and broke to boot. I sometimes wish I'd have went out and bought a 1st generation truck with a bunch of cattle dents and about 500000 kilometres on it so I could resist the urge to turn it into a rolling pile of chrome :D :D :D . But I do love this truck-and I plan to keep it for a long long time so every time I see something I like out comes the Visa  ... .

Plus it makes me look a lot more professional rolling on-lease in in. The guy I work with runs a '81 W150 that quite frankly has seen better days-when the 2 of us show up on location together pretty much everyone gravitates to me because I look more like I've got things together-whether it's actually true or not is another story :p .

Thanks for the compliments man.

Jason

Now that brings back memories!

Haven't seen that show for a long long time... but now that I think about it you make a valid point. Mine doesn't keep handprints permanently etched on the surface though :D

Jason

I always thought I'd go with a white truck when ever the time finally comes. I can only imagine what that bright silver looks like in person!

Great lookin rig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
