Snorkel

Have any of you guy thought about putting a snorkel on your truck? Wouldn't that get some pretty cool air? Would the long air travel effect induction?

What kind of Snorkel are you reffering to? the "Hood scoop" type? or the kind that they have that go up the "A" pillar to roof level for fording streams?

I've been dying to put a snorkel on my truck, but I have not found anybody that makes one for the Ram. I have located some right hand side snorkels, and they MIGHT work. I'm just not ready to spend $300 to see if I could make it work. Maybe if we could get enough guys together that want one, we could get one tooled up for us... ...

I'm referring to the kind that goes up the A pillar. It'd be nice to have the option but I don't know about getting my interior wet. I've spent much time at work looking for a snorkel kit but no luck.

I've thought about a snorkel, but haven't seen one for Dodges. On the other hand, has anyone had a problem with a CTD inhaling water? Any idea how deep we can ford before that is an issue?
