Great guys at SmokinDiesel.com

fittings for 1/2" line to fuel tank for FASS suction line.

I just received my Snow Stage 2 tonight and am excited about installing it. Just had some questions before I go drilling and wiring.

Does the nozzle go in the intake "horn", or the tube going to it? Also, is it an option to use both nozzles? is that why there are two nozzle holders?

What have you guys done to get a boost connection for the variable controller? Tap into the boost gauge line or make a new connection in the intake for it?

I havent had any experience with these kits and I would like to do it right the first time, so thanks in advance for any help.

Do I have to have a fitting for the boost pressure line from like a boost pressure gauge or is there some other kind of fitting that I can use to attach my pressure line to the VC, maybe something from the plumbing section of a hardware store?

I just went to the local hardware store and bought a "T" to thread into the head where my boost line for the guage is and ran one line to the VC and the other to the guage :D

the boost fitting shown in my pic came with the kit. just a barbed brass fitting.

where ever you decide to tap into for boost you shouldn't have any problem finding the fittings at any hardware store.

i had to add a wire tie to both ends of the boost line when i added twins(65lbs boost). kept popping the lines off. was fine with single turbo and 43 psi.

I didnt get a fitting for boost pressure with my kit, I guess thats why I am confused as how to hook it up. I was thinking about just using the boost gauge line somehow. Going to go to the store and see what I can find. Thanks for the help. Only other thing is how I am going to mount the whole thing in the engine compartment. I see spots underneath where it looks like I could mount the pump, but I dont want to exspose it to much.

I have heard of custom brakets mounting the tank to the alternator in another thread I started but I dont think I am going to go that route. Thinking about using the washer fluid resevoir and mounting the pump somewhere underneath it.

A Great location to mount your pump is below the radiator on the x-member. The washer fluid bottle is a great resevoir.

Got the kit installed last night and tested today. When it kicks in at 15 PSI, it is very noticable. I am still getting used to the new turbo but with the water activated I can feel the extra power. At 20 PSI in 4th gear before, my truck really started to move good, but it moves even better now. EGT's have been just slightly over 1200* where before water injection I would have been into the 1600*-1700* area.

I ended up mounting the pump on the lower radiator cross member and using the washer fluid resevoir. Thanks BPonci for that advice, saved alot of time trying to locate a place. Thanks everyone else for the help also.
