Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) SNOW PERFORMANCE water/meth installed

i got the stage 2 kit with the variable controller and a 8 gallon tank.

i installed two 625ml nozzles and have the pump set at approx. 200psi.

my kit also had the electric valve which i plumbed to the pump inlet.

i bought methanol at an oil distributor so that i could play around with the mixture.

i mixed a 50/50 solution for first testing and found that the "seat of pants dyno" shows a definate increase in hp and i it takes longer for the egt peg 1500 than before. as i do more testing i will post actual egt decreases etc.

i also noticed that when the pump kicks on(indicator lite in dash) that it turns the big black cloud coming out of the exhaust pipe to a hazy white/grey color and then almost clear very quick.

i bought the system for egt lowering so i will be mixing a 35% meth solution today and do some testing

not all the fittings you see in my setup come with the kit but they are easy to find.

I also have the 625 (2) nozzels and my older pump is maxed out around 150 PSI... I noticed w/o my Comp on it's too much, and starts to kill the combustion unless under full throttel. However I love the kit and there is lots of adjustment so I can talor it the way I want. Right now I'm just using it for fun...

I'm from Maryland... who is Matt. I was looking at this for my truck also but was shopping at Summit Racing. I live in Montgomery County and the only TDR stickers or badges I see are on 70 between Hagerstown and Mt. Airy. I know one other member in Southern Md.

I'm looking for a bit more power and controlling egt's on hard grades in WVA. Thanks in advance!!

I have a water meth set up I decided not to install.
water alone is supposed to give up to 20hp. Free water. . Free fuel. . ( well 20hp worth. ) you wont wnt to run tap water as it has too many chemicals.
