Yet another saga unfolds with this system! After the last dyno event In knew that I might be asking for just a little too much out of one pump, So after some testing and thought I came up with an idea to try on my truck.
Run 1 pump on the two nozzles (625's) in the hat and run another pump on a 3rd nozzle (625) in the intercooler to hat pipe set to come on at a higher pressure.
I first tried this with both coming on at the same time with the same power source... ... not too bad! I then changed it to two different power sources, different hobbs switches and different pressures for turn on.
Here is what I came up with so far: In valet it just doesn't like it, yes it gains 15 psi of boost(50-65) but it bangs all the way to high RPM. In full fuel it seems ok but doesn't quite have the feel even at 85 psi, so I'll check and turn the pressure down to tune it. The life of R&D..... crazy fun! At least I know that I reached the limit..... easy to back off.
Pump #1 @ 35-40 psi and Pump #2 @ 50-55 psi!
