Before I ordered my truck, I drove a truck without both options and with both options. Without the options, the truck didn't seem to handle as well as the one with both. The one with both options rode a little firmer, but not enough to be a problem.

With the snowplow package you get a heavier transfer case. It is also necessary if you plan to add a winch. The camper special is nice if you are hauling heavy loads since it reduces sway and has the overload springs. The overload springs won't have any impact on an unloaded truck, but they do keep the truck from sagging with a load.
