Last weekend at 8000', 6" of snow and a little mud the steering became more stiff. It does not return as fast when turning left or right. There is no drag to the left or right when on pavement. I was in and out of 4 wheel several times. I checked the steering fluid when I returned home and it was up to the proper level. Any ideas? The vehicle has 63,265 miles on the odometer. Is the box going out already? The weather has warmed up to 70 degrees and no improvement. Your thoughts>>>>>>>>

Didja bend or score the exposed portion of the steering stabilizer piston while playing in the snow? Sounds like the place to look. Makes a heck of a binder!

I power washed the underneath and all appeared to be fine. I will double check the stabilizer and probably remove it to see what difference it makes. I am due for new shocks and stabilizer anyway. thanks for you comment, fish on!!!!
