So my 150 psi pump kit from snows is useless? What a waste of $759 bucks. My wife got it for me for christmas in Dec of 2004 and I still have never installed it. That of course is Canadian funds. .

I plan on putting it in my 98 12v. Not sure if I am normal or not. Like just about everyone on these boards I am wanting more power than my truck already has. In the future... more fuel, bigger turbo... ... maybe twins, o-ring heads, nitrous etc. Just wondering if the 150 pump fits into my current and future plans.
From what the gentleman at snow told me when I ordered mine, 220 is for people in the 55+ boost range. The higher PSI is needed to overcome the boost and still get proper atomization and injection of the ww fluid.
BTW, on the snow site, they have lowered there prices $100 or so in the last week
I bought a 220 pump last year and it wasn't high. Any truck that I have put a system on I've always got a 220 pump, even stock turbo'd trucks. Nothing wrong with you 150 pump, you may want to keep it and add it onto a single nozzle later after you do the Twins, I ran 2 pumps and 3 nozzles on mine when it had Twins and it needed it.
The problem with the 150 psi pump is the pressure switch. With the switch set at the highest it will bump 130 psi and turn the pump off. The pump will not come back on untill the pressure drops back to arround 85 psi. When you add boost with the pump cycling you don't get the flow. If you are running small nozzels and a hobbs switch setup you have to use the pressure switch. If you have a veriable controller you can use it to control the flow and pressure "What it's made to do" If you run 3 large nozzels you can over ride the pressure switch and your pump can't build too much pressure. 45 gph may be too much for some but that's what you have a controller for.
You can bypass the pressure switch and use your controller to control the flow. I think you can use all the two 625ml nozzels can flow and maybe more at full boost.
