Cool, Thanks ! I have plans in the evening not sure if they will be able to get to me, since I am so far down the list, but I will show up & see what happens. See you all tommorow. Marty

What A JOKE!!!! The dyno store was Horrible! Those idiots had one truck on the dyno for over an HOUR! A stock 325 hp truck did mid 400 hp on the dyno and a 600-700hp truck did 890 hp on the dyno. They were not able to sence wheel speed and get a reading from it, only rpm and it wasn't working. A HUGE waste of time and money. Some people even came from 5 hours up north to go down there. The funniest thing was they didn't want to use the exhaust system on the diesels and the truck exhaust was facing the inside of the shop. The whole shop would fill with smoke, it was ridiculous. All the diesels were 100-200 hp too high. I think we need to find a better shop than dynostore next time for a dyno event.

And what did they have to say???

Don’t know what to say guys. .

However, we do appreciate your frustration. The gasers numbers were accurate except the very first one, which we are retesting, Wed evening for free. We know the gasers numbers were right because we ran our trucks afterward and got perfect results.

We cannot apologize enough for the failure of this event. We promised you a tech from Dynocom who never showed as promised and we promised you a successful Dyno day. Please understand that this has not ever been an issue before. If it was we would not have planned this event.

Thanks for the understanding.

TDS .

what a LOAD OF CRAP

Hey guys/gals. Sorry for the mess today. All of us at DTW are po'd about what went down today as well. I still had a great time meeting some of you and learning some new things. Hopefully we can find a place that knows what they're doing and try again. Sucks because we specifically asked if the place could do diesels. It's the second dyno shop to not come through on promises. Any thoughts one a place that knows what they're doing let us know. We'll try again.

a second try for 5 bucks a run with a tech that can set it up would be cool. would anyone give them a second chance? just an idea

...

UGH... 5 hours down then almost turned right around to go back home. Just got in. If it weren't for the friends i knew there it would have been a total waste of time... when it comes to successful dyno days you all know who comes through . . NOR-CAL BABY! :p Maybe you southern cali boys can gain a few more really hot trucks and be like us... TimA--you need to move to northern cali make it a one-sided HP war :-laf Good times nonetheless. . see ya'll next time!--Greg

Quit yer crying Greg,ya know ya just came to see the girls on the flyer!! :-laf I'm glad it was only 45 min drive for me I feel sorry for the rest of ya that had a long drive!Who wants to jump in and buy a Dyno so this don't happen again. ;)

I was mad that I didnt get dyno but talking with friends made it worth the 600mile round trip. .

And racing some fast dodge with twins from Elk grove on hwy 5 was also fun :) Except they blew my doors off :{

E-gad, how do you think I feel since I was the one that set this whole thing up? Not to mention that I could hardly stay awake (I was awake since 1pm on Fri afternoon, I work graveyard shift) I do know there's at least 1, maybe 2, that said they're gonna re-do their trucks for free, but they're also local people, and they asked the shop about it. I wouldn't throw in the towel yet, they've only been open since July. And since I'm local, I'll stay close to see what happens. It's not too often that a dyno shop is real close to home, so I'm willing to work with these people. It was also kinda rough when the shop was told that the dyno mfg's tech was gonna show and had nothing but excuses when the shop called them with probs. I know, I was there for that. Go ahead and complain (I really don't blame the nor cal, you had a long trek) but it ain't gonna change my mind. I'm gonna stand by and see what happens. Now, if it was the people that couldn't get it right and not the machine or comp, it would be different. I'm not real quick to put the gun to someone.

lol

Yep I also work the same shift and had about 1hr rest before I came down.

My friend knows one of the guys and said the same thing, but they should have said something to us about what was going on. Their is another Dyno up here other than R&E and will talk to them and see what kind it is.

I was inside Mc D's at the corner of De Soto and Chatsworth, when I heard two distinct roars, and then I see Diesel 1 who was in the drive through, tear out, pitch it sideways and try to catch the group. I look at my buddy Spence and told him "They're Here" :D
