and I am looking for some advise on my selections and also would like vendors to tell me what they can do on package deals.

I have what is in my sig plus a Pacbrake but haven't installed it yet.

The list of wants are based on research I have gotten primarily from here but if someone thinks I am going the wrong direction or should think about something else feel free to chime in. Here goes:

-TST (latest version)

-sps 62 (would like to know the diff between PS and SPS though)

-possibly coupled with exhaust manifolds (have seen a few with ATS)

-4" system all the way back (I like the MBRP)

-FASS??? unless you think a lift pump can last under those upgrades

-am I missing something I will need?

I am a transporter so this truck has got to remain reliable, if you think I am going to aggressive speak up now...

Looks like a good alternative...

anyone have any thing to add about it? I must admit haven't really researched the lift pump options. Is there anything in paticular that I should be aware of.

Yeah, you'll need a clutch. Very happy with my SBC... The differance on the phat shaft and Super Phat Turbo is the wheels. The Super will spool faster and keep things a little cooler. I got a package deal from I. I. with SPS 62, ATS exhaust and arch flow manifolds... IMO the ATS manifolds are beefer than the other two.

it looks to be a reliable setup for less than a fass/airdog setup. .

i've got the parts at home to make my own setup using a 2micron cat/fleetguard filter and the walbro 392 pump. .

still waiting on the regulator & parts to make my new fuel pickup [1/2"id-5/8"id] though :(

update...

This past weekend a friend and I put a few goodies on my truck. Here's the list:

Edge Juice/Attitude

AFE stage II

ATS exhaust manifold

SPS 62

4" exhaust from pacbrake back

Fass

South Bend CON-OFE

and I finally got to put my pacbrake on.

I got all these upgrades through Gus "Afarmer" who responded to this thread. Nice guy to deal with really helped me out (more on that later). Because I use this truck for keeping the family fed he recommended I go with the edge over the tst. So far I am real pleased with the truck though for me the real test will come when I hook up the 4 car trailer.

Gus had some other suggestions and really helped put a package together that would save me some money. I ordered the High Tech HTB2 but when it arrived UPS had been a little rough with it and as a result it was damaged. With my tight schedule I had already planned for the install to take place last weekend and I hadn't discovered the damage until Thursday when I arrived home from a road trip. I called Gus to explain the problem and find out what could be done. At this point the story gets long and dull so I will cut to the point. Because High Tech didn't have another one on the shelf and I really wanted to get the install done over the weekend Gus got an SPS 62 shipped to me the next day. It took lots of phone calls to get this accomplished and I thank Gus for spending most of the day on me.

The install went really well. I did learn that the easiest way to install a SPS 62 is to mount it to the exhaust manifold on a table but I would also recommend installing the oil return line before mounting the turbo/manifold back on the engine. This will keep you from having to fight it to get that rear bolt back on. Everything else went better than expected. The FASS goes on much quicker than I had heard in some of these threads. Even the clutch was relatively easy when considering the size of an NV5600.

I will give some feedback after I hit the road with some weight behind it to let others know what I discover when I get some miles on these mods.
