Need Wireing Schematic For factory Hitch

Cargo Trailer

Having contracted for several years and living in a 5th wheel, a couple of things to consider are:

1. Unless you like going to the store really often, get the largest refrigerator-freezer that you can.

2. Washer & dryer. Your wife will get really sick of laundromats.

Andy,

We just attended the Tacoma RV show this last weekend. Had a couple of reps tell us that the 'special prices' would be good several months down the line as the invoice price doesn't change one way or another for an RV show.

There is another show coming up next month in Seattle.

We purchased a used 2000 Cardinal 28LX this past weekend after looking/researching since last September. Figure out what you REALLY want (aluminum vs wood, plywood vs OSB, full timer vs part timer, off-road vs freeway, hardwall vs aluminum and so on). Pretty soon a lot of coaches eliminate themselves.

Good luck.

5th Wheels

Andy,

Don't buy a 5th wheel hitch, they come with the unit. Any dealer that wants to sell you one as well as charge you to have it installed is ripping you off. Most do charge to install it, however that can be worked out by you and your dealer. Also the Mountain version of the Montana is a step down from the Montana, not up. The Artic insulation package on the Montana is also an option, not standard, that also could be a dealer thing. I also opted for the larger tires and wheels which in turn provide larger brakes. Thought I'd clarify those items. There is so much to consider, the bset thing to do is bite the bullet and talk to a dealer for the current and accurate info.

Seriously consider the NU-WA products. We just traded up from a 1992 24RKMG Hitchhiker II to a 2002 31FKTG Hitchhiker II. The 1992 gave us ten years of great service as we towed it all over the country. Hope the new one is as good as the old one. Rick

Thanks

Andy

Thanks for asking. She is well and has gone back to college. The folks in Columbia were very supportive, and our Automate made a very nice temporary home for us.

Good luck in your selection.
