I cried

I was parking at my outlaw's last night (Xmas Eve) and there was alot of congestion in the yard so I thought I'd back up and park on the concrete slab for the new garage. As my front wheels climbed up the 4" step onto the slab my driver's side mudflap got caught and tore the entire wheel liner out and tweaked the fender enough so the door wouldn't open. By the time I heard the noise it was too late. Merry ##$%^%ing Xmas. I've been sick to my stomach ever since it happened.

I will definitely need a new liner and body work on the fender.

Other than that I got chrome grill inserts but I don't have the heart to go out and look at the truck right now.

Your account reminded me of my co-worker who took his Toyota Tacoma to the desert for the first time. With a completely stock truck,he attempted to traverse two abondoned railroad tracks in parallel separated by hefty ditches. He stopped after the first knowing he'd high center going over the second track. Putting it into reverse he goosed it and backed over the first track. After hearing a crunch,he attempted to exit the vehicle from the driver's side. No go! The tire had pinched the mud flap in such a manner that it destroyed the left front fender,pushing it rearward into the drivers door,knocking it out of alignment. All@ 5mph! Toyota claimed abuse and $1370. 00 later he had his truck back. :-laf P. S. This was on a 1996 model. Front flaps were removed.

Sounds like something I did a few years ago. . "down south", on my way to Muncie... then to add to the mess, had a damn big ol' branch fall off a tree and dent my damn hood. Got home and $1600 out of pocket later, all was good again !

I got a weed whacker and a leaf blower to put in the back of my CTD! WOOHOO! I also got a back massager chair cushion thing that I am thinking of trying in my truck by plugging it in to an inverter.

I got a new 06 CTD QC SRW 4wd in mineral gray, gray interior. 2500 mi now, LOVE THIS TRUCK.

That was back on November 26th, to take advantage of the great $5000 rebate



Now I am waiting on my 19. 5s Vision Type 81's and Hankook 265s to better haul my camper! Whooo-hoooooo!
