Here I am

SO, where DO you like to camp?

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Does your Prodigy do this?

I need a good adjustable drawbar

Got any pics of your favorite "final destinations"?

We see lotsa pics of rigs and trucks - and various comments as to the RV camping lifestyle - but not a lot as to favorite camp spots and what attracts us to them - her's a few of mine:

Now that we are located in eastern Oregon - John Day area, we are still checking out local camping attractions - we've spent MANY years camping along the southern Oregon coast - Port Orford - Bandon areas - now located here in the eastern part of the state - we've tried Magone Lake, pictured above. A sort of wilderness spot, a few scattered water faucets and pit toilets - but we're self contained, so no problem!

Here's a shot of our camp at Magone, with the brother/sister in law's MH in the background:

Here's a new VERY wilderness spot - totally undeveloped, but just off a backwoods paved road, with a forest service dry camp about a quarter mile down the road - many of these areas are developed for the Elk/deer hunters this area is famous for. We're just out on a camping spot prospecting trip with the in-laws - brought a picnic lunch and had a good time.

This spot sits right on this small stream full of pan-sized trout - we WILL be back here soon with the RV's for a few days fishing!

SO, what's YOUR favorite camping location and activity?

Great shots. For us, just about all camping trips are associated with road trips. One of these days I would like to get to some places like you have pictured and just stay for a while ...

Where you find water.

Was a Overton Beach for the month of January. Going tomorrow to Milner res. in Idaho for some bass and cats. Got to love the great outdoors and our freedum so we can enjoy it. Great pictures. I need to start taking more.

OK Gary,

It took everything I've got not to say " insert asphalt reference here" , so I think I deserve some recognition for not stirring up the pot or opening old wounds or whatever!

Just kidding! :)

Our favorite camp site is up in the bush near Lytton, B. C. It would definitely be described as "boondocking".

ps. I do accept personal cheques.

LOL :-laf :-laf :-laf

I like to off- road it to primative forest lands. I keep the "perma- camp" equipment in the truck from April til after hunting season so that it's ready to go on a whim. Just pack a coller and I am camping in 45 minutes. Usually I go up many of the creek trails up in the Breckenridge area.

NOTE: This is what I did with the 'ole 01. It had more scratches than wax on the paint, but hey- it was a truck! With the new one, I am a bit more hesitant to take it off raod, but that time will come very soon :D

That's what I get for leaving my digital at home!

BTW, I'm changing my answer to the beach at Gonzaga Bay, Baja.

Cheers,

Dave

Fish Creek state park in upstate NY near Lake Placid, no hookups but almost all water sites it was awsome, this was our site last week viewed from a freind's boat. Saw a few trucks I thought might have been members during the week.
