Not trying to hijack the thread, but I have lived in Texas all my life, and just recently visited the site of the assassination. It is truly remarkable. I spent over 3 hours looking at all of the pictures and reading about JFK. They have the window area that they said Oswald shot him out of, arranged exactly as it was that day. Boxes, and other stuff. I never believed that Oswald acted alone, and after my visit to the School Book Depository, I am even more entrenched that Oswald was not alone or the only shooter.

P. S. I was 1year 3 months old :D

I was -4 years old. I too don't think Oswald was alone, or if he even pulled the trigger. I remember seeing some documentory about that rifle and to see how accurate it shoots. They had expert rifleman practice with the same type of rifle that Oswald was said to have on the sixth floor. I can't recall the numbers, but the three shots couldn't have been fired in the time that was stated.

Don't forget how much information was "lost" during this time in history. There was a lot of policies not followed during this trip. Starting from leaving Air Force One at the airport to last minutes at the hospital.

Have you guys seen the footage showing LBJ in the same car when the firing started, with a big **** eating grin on his face?

I didnt come along for another 15 years, but Mom said she was in Spanish class, 10th grade. Someone came around to all the classrooms delivering the news. Everyone immediately went to the gym, held a mass (Catholic school in Kirkwood MO) for JFK. Everyone was just SHOCKED someone shot the president in the middle of a parade. Guess you'll always remember, if you were around. Kind of like the way I'll always remember 9/11.

I was on a Airforce SAC base with a bunch of nuclear armed B52 bombers, scared the crap out of us. I also have been to the book repository in Dallas and have seen the alleged shooting position. Ask anyone who has done any rifle shooting and been there if that was the way it happened.

I was 6 years from being conceived. My dad was hunting white tail deer at his uncle's camp. He heard the news from another hunter who had heard it on his car radio. Dad has not gone deer hunting since. This year was the first year he has bought a liscense since. Season is over on Sunday and he still hasn't gone out yet.

Maybe next year.

I was coming out of the Post Office when I was ??? Must be that CRS again!! (Can't Remember *****) That happens when you get older!!

Never believe that LHO was the shooter or involved. Sort of convened that the accused assassinator was assassinated BEFORE he was even charged!!

Did you know? 19 of the 27 witnesses that came forward were died within 7 years!!?? Hummm, very interesting.

I have a Encyclopedia of the JFK Assassination on CD. (works on Mac or Windows) It was put out by Zane Publishing.

I lived in Dallas for 15 years, have been there a few times. I shoot prairie dogs quite a bit. About 300 rounds a month at least depending on the funds. Albeit it would take some shooting skills, but at 100 yards a human head is not difficult to hit by any means, especially if he had a rest. I shot a dog at 200 yards off hand with my 12 pound rifle. Ok i have a 20x scope that helps, the claims people make about the shooting being impossible is bull. I know I could do it, now everything else involved with the scenario is sure fishy.
