Im still confused

So you wrap your radiator hose around the fan blade why? :-laf

no wrapped the hose around the oil fill tube not the fan blades. i feel a lot better knowing im not the only one :-laf

Well... I did it twice ( ) on my old ferd years ago. First time I was in the cab starting it up. The second was more fun... I was on the bumper leaning into the engine compartment and pushed down on the hose with my chest--someone should have taken a video of how fast I unloaded from the truck!

Just kidding ya, I could see it happening pretty easy.

I came a little to close to getting my drop light cord in the fan the other night

It only takes 15 miles to wear a hole in the hose if you do not hear it in the fan. Yes I did it. There I admit it.

Hello my name is Casey I am a Cumminsholic.

Don't feel bad, the Dodge dealer in Key West did the same to mine except mine had a hole in it and I lost the coolant. No, they didn't mke it right by fixing it.

I did the same darn thing. I might have been pulling the overflow valve. Or was it on a valve adjustment procedure? I'll have to look under the hood to refresh my memory.

But I am guilty, Thank God it didn't wear all the way through though.

Yep did that on the way to houston this year. Tow truck broke a fuel return line, and we stopped and fixed in the auto parts store parking lot. Only differance is I get back on the highway (no noise) and get a few miles down the road and look down and see the temp gauge just about pinned. Thank god I watch my gauges.
