Our fighting Men

A second unnessary war

blocking off city streets, using up Police resources, nearly insighting riots in the streets. at a time when nearly every state in the nation is under serious budget constraints. Add to that the need for all to step up resources and spend even more money to protect against terrorrism. who is paying for these protestors actions? WE ARE!

I think they shoud be fined for the cost to the city of their protests and held liable for losses/damages or anyone who REALLY had a crime happen to them while the police attention was diverted.

i wish someone would post names, numbers and contact info of these individuals somewhere for the public to see. I have always said if i ever went off my rocker, it would be to haunt people like this and make them suffer for their actions they have impossed on us. how about we use their yards for streets while they are out blocking ours. I had some kids one time that kept using the street out in front of their house for a burnout pit. one night in the wee hours i backed down their asphalt driveway all the way to the garage. i then proceeded to smoke the tires like there was no tomorrow and just let off the brake and left a pile of rubber and two stripes all the way down their driveway. they NEVER burned out in the street again. thier dad probably put some divits in their back sides that they are still trying to fill back in. accountablity starts at home with parenting. have these people forgotten the streets are full of cars and cars hurt and kill when you get run over by one. they just assume we will stop and not run them down. some crazed idiot will one of these days. ever seen that episode of real TV where that guy in Mexico or something like that did? the police should play that on a big screen for those idiots to see. I bet they would step up on the sidewalk then.

I am in NO WAY suggesting someone go out and mow down people. i am suggesting protesting Peacefully and not enfringing on the rights of others. and not burdening the taxpayers more by doing so!

i'm sure after reading this most of you think i HAVE gone off my rocker. that's OK, Fear is a natural and healthy thing! if you are not sure of the reaction you hesitate to push in the first place.

united we stand, divided we fall, people.

I think that the people who lost wages, because the protesters blocked their way to work, should sue them. Use the handout legal system to your advantage.

Yesterday in Boston, MIT punks protested and one was displaying an Iraqi flag.

I would just love to see the local chapters of the Hell's Angels organize a "protest" next to these Sadam Lovers ... a pool cue protest. :D

Wasted Tax dollars

Last night we had what was called an illegal protest (no permit) that lasted over 4 hours and ended up with about 150 arrests.

They just don't get it that it wastes peoples time and money to block streets and highways for hours on end. And they called it a peace protest. Guess they really meant it was a protest against peace.

I'm sure the police wanted to start picking them off but they were very calm during most of the protest. I couldn't have controlled myself as well as they did.

I can't believe these people think it's about oil or us destroying Iraqi people! When oil fields are burning and the cost of moving the equipment over there, how long would it take to get our money back? (thats if it was actually about oil and we were getting proceeds from their oil). We do everything possible to minimize civilian casualties. Saddam fills military buildings with innocent civilians, gasses his own people and tortures them in vats of acid and we are the bad guys?

Protesters should go back into their schools, get the education they are obviously missing out on, and stop making us look like idiots to the rest of the world.

Protesters... you can't lock them in the basement like red headed step children, and you can't make them go to France.

You know, this really frosts me. I bet these yahoos are the same ones who say that SUVs support terrorism. Well you know what? THEY are the ones supporting terrorism now. The way I see it, they are taking resources away from the war on terrorism with every moment of time they waste of law enforcement - especially at a time when we're on high alert. The dollar cost of dealing with these bozos is also taking dollars away from the war on terrorism. I'm all for their right to protest or speak out, but give me a break. The really sad thing is that I'd be willing to bet that most of them are just band wagon jumpers who are only out there because it's in fashion in their social circles. It's a real cheap shot to our troops to have to see what's going on over here while they're putting their lives on the line for us in Iraq. These are just a bunch of '60s era wanabees.

I had rather see these people have to perform 40+ hours of community service instead of being allowed to pay some piddly fine.

Peace Activists

With all of this talk of impending war, many of us will encounter "Peace Activists" who will try and convince us that we must refrain from retaliating against the ones who terrorized us all on September 11, 2001, and those who support terror.

These activists may be alone or in a gathering..... most of us don't know how to react to them. When you come upon one of these people, or one of their rallies, here are the proper rules of etiquette:

1. Listen politely while this person explains their views. Strike up a conversation if necessary and look very interested in their ideas. They will tell you how revenge is immoral, and that by attacking the people who did this to us, we will only bring on more violence. They will probably use many arguments, ranging from political to religious to humanitarian.

2. In the middle of their remarks, without any warning, punch them in the nose.

3. When the person gets up off the ground, they will be very angry and they may try to hit you, so be careful.

4. Very quickly and calmly remind the person that violence only brings about more violence and remind them of their stand on this matter. Tell them if they are really committed to a nonviolent approach to undeserved attacks, they will turn the other cheek and negotiate a solution. Tell them

they must lead by example if they really believe what they are saying.

5. Many of them will think for a moment and then agree that you are correct.

6. As soon as they do that, hit them again. Only this time hit them much harder. Square in the nose.

7. Repeat steps 2-5 until the desired results are obtained and the idiot realizes how stupid of an argument he/she is making.

8. There is no difference in an individual attacking an unsuspecting victim or a group of terrorists attacking a nation of people. It is unacceptable and must be dealt with. Perhaps at a high cost.

We owe our military a huge debt for what they are about to do for us and our children. We must support them and our leaders at times like these. We have no choice. We either strike back, VERY HARD, or we will keep getting hit in the nose.

Lesson over, class dismissed.

If I had the time and the nerve, I'd jump into the middle of one of those protest rallys with a large poster reading:

<font size=5> War is the Path to Peace </font size=5>

:p

Thank you for the lesson Professor BHaner :)

May I suggest a little addition to the lesson?? after the first couple of punches and :-{} ... . slip on some brass knuckles for added effect. :D

Let the protesters know that the "enemy" never fights fair... . so we got to go in and clean em up.

Oo. Oo. Oo.

I can't believe that I agree with Champagne Flight! Just kidding you. I saw alot of those protesters and they looked like mostly 20- somethings. Some day they might see things differently.

At this point

There is NO point in protesting at this time. We are at war now, much to late to do anything but back the troops and voice your opinion quietly and rationaly. I will never be for war, but I will be dammed if I will go to the streets and act like a idiot. I would much rather stay right here and needle you guys... . :D

Two way street (sound familiar)

I will never be for war, but I will be dammed if I will go to the streets and act like a idiot.
Yes this is from another thread but applies to same topic:
She was fighting for something she believed in and died doing it. Even if I didn't agree with her actions, she had strong will and determination. We need more people like this in this world, she will be missed.

Sorry, had to make another comparison CF. Are you saying IDIOT'S who are willing to die for their beliefs(like bombing American's) are needed in this world even if you don't agree with it?

SO who's paying for <strike>these protestors?</strike> this war?

I think you guys spouting off on your keyboard here need to take on a second job so you can pay more taxes to support our troops. Think twice before you ever cheat on your taxes again even if it's just "bending" the rules.

To do otherwise you are just as bad as the protesters in the street...

I've never cheated on my taxes! This year I even had enough left over to buy a membership here and spout off :D

I am a military man and I would appreciate it if you guys would get 2 jobs to help support me   :-laf :-laf (especially since I developed this bombing addiction):p

Just poking a little fun to lighten up a thread that is getting a little sensitive

And all these 20-something's protesting are going to be the ones running this country one day. Makes me wonder what the world will be like then.
