Hey guys-

The event was sure fun!!! Bought a mag-hytec cover for my dana 80 for a good deal and enjoyed the good food, a great presentation from Gale Banks, missed the diesel101 becuase the G/f was bit-ching since it was hot and she wanted to go. Lots of nice people and smokey trucks, can't wait for the next one!

I wanna join the Rattlin Rams club now :)

Well I was gonna come until I got a call at 5:30 Saturday morning saying a piece of equipment had gone down and guess who had to fix it!Oh well next time.

PS. What's a 440 worth to ya?;)

That sucks!

Well, i got a 440 1968 hi nickel block std bore sitting in my garage waiting to be machined into either a stock config or a stroker... cant decide!!!

Then dropped into a 74 duster with a 70 tail panel... :)

I thought it was a great show, especially the first one. One thing I do know is that I and my truck, were extremely unprepared for the show-n-shine contest, congrats to the winners.

I agree, for a first year it was fun and a good turn out, definitly a must do next year. Now if we can get a short pulling track, or mobile dyno in that dirt field next year. :D

Tom we went over this already, its not being prepared for the show, it is just choosing the right class to enter in, your truck was much cleaner than mine. :p

Guys thanks for coming out! I was very impressed with the turnout- forget first year events, the urnout was bigger than some of the already existing annual events. We had 140 registered trucks, and more than 400 people (based on food tickets)

That dirt field will be a new dealership next year. Since the Chevy dealer is already there I'm guessing a F. . d dealer will be there.

It's been empty for the two plus years that the other dealerships have been there:rolleyes: . Foothill Ranch Dodge owns the lot to the right of the dealership that was filled with inventory.

Winning Prize list (both claimed and unclaimed) coming soon.

The Red 1999 that won was Fred's, and it has the factory sport bumper up front and a Carriage Works rear bumper. Dwayne- the voting was EXTREMELY close. If you all might remember I had indicated after lunch that we had a few ties needing to be broken. You were beat out by Ted (the 1994 Custom Welding truck) by only 2 votes :( .
