Competition Cylinder Head O-Ring Tool

Thanks for the good time at Glamis, i had a BLAST!! The reason I left early was that I was still a little uncomfortable with operating my truck in that kind of terrain. I knew it was only going to take going over one more unseen razorback and i was going to be a immobile hazmat station.

I would have never guess that my truck could be so capable in the sand.

I hope I can do it again in the future but these are memories that will be hard to forget.

That was another good trip guy's. Thank you to every one that made it out. And thank you to all the guy's that gave rides to all of us with wounded trucks. We didn't break all the trucks in the sand, some of us broke before we got to the sand!:-laf I never thought that you could use a coat hanger to repair a driveshaft, but 275 miles and still holding. All I need is 45 more miles out of it. :)

If you didn't make it out for this one don't worry there will be more trips to the dunes(next season), to test your driving abilities in the sand.

Kinda wished I went down with you guys as the Tulare event turned out to be the biggest joke.

Joe

Sorry to hear that... ..... being your first pull event that must of sucked. Heard the same from carnival worker.

How did your truck do?

Bob

Thanks everybody for a good time and the wonderful hospitality. The only regrets that the wife had was leaving and missing out on some of the fun. She was crazy enough to drive all the way back out from San Clemente Saturday night to ride a little on Sunday though.

Who cares about the heat as long as my teeth are not getting sandblasted...

You have a good point there:-laf :-laf I did hijack my bros bike for a ride up comp. Dam no AC in that helmet... ... ... ..... When will your truck be set up?

Bob

It was that bad BOBBY4X4, that I wished I had went with you and not have bathed all weekend long, to hang out in Glamis and sleep in the bed of my Rig:)

But the only thing is that I would hate to have a RASH because of it:eek:

I see LOOOOONG TRAVEL coming Oo.

Bob

Well see?

I just gotta get KING to make a 14 inch travel shock thats the same length as a 10... haha...

I can dream... :p

I actually have some plans for new shock mounts, but as of now my head needs to put it to paper and see if it will even pan out. Not much room in there...

Don :)

Did Joe Gheen pull ?

Bob

Yes, I did pull. Jeez you guys post fast in this one. :-laf

Didn't pull well as I chose the wrong gearing for my run. 4th 4 low is not going to work with 3. 54s. Only get 2 chances before 100ft. and I blew 'em both:rolleyes: Oh well, I'll have to try something different @ MM and Vegas. Just wish the event gave time for exhibitions for those of us testing our rigs. I still won't know how it is really going to do until vegas but thats married life. :-laf :{

Joe

I used 3 low on my 3. 54 too.

You could have come to Glamis to practice pulling:-laf We pulled Fords,Chevys,toyotas... ... ... ... ... ...

Bob

Probably should have, would have had a lot more fun. Oo.

Gonna try 3rd 4 low and 2nd 4 hi in Vegas and compare the 2 hooks and stick with one of those choices. :D
