That's ok. It's not like you were there. Oh wait a minute, isn't that you sitting in the right seat of the Jeep:-laf . I don't remember ever seeing a Hemi on top of Old's. Maybe once Jason gets his race truck built we can get him to bring it out and see how the Hemi runs in the sand. I haven't seen the sand in 2 or 3 weeks , I need to get back out there soon.

I think so, I should be there by 9 or 10 am Friday, and staying tell Monday if I have any one else that want's to stay. I might be going out the week before also.

Forgive the intrusion, but these pics bring back a lot of memories for me - I spent a lot of time in Yuma in the late `70's, early 80's at my brother's house between semesters at U of A. He had an open rail dune buggy (Corvair powered!) that was an absolute SCREAM on the big dunes!



Times and regulations were a lot different back then I bet!

Most my siblings went to U of A... ... ... Me too but just for the girls and concerts. We will have a corvair powered buggy out there too and a Segway with off-road tires hey Mike.

Ok, I broke down and ordered front tow hooks from Dodge. If I'm going to take my truck I want to make sure I can be pulled out if needed. Damn hooks cost 139 + tax. Lets make sure each of us come out witha HEAVY DUTY tow strap. #@$%! No POS rinky dink Wal Mart special. :-laf

I have 4 5k tie down straps and a strap with a loop on both ends.

Remember you must have a whip to drive in the sand. I mount mine up front... ... it is the first thing anyone will see when breaking over a dune.
