2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Sock Radio

When ever I get into my truck on a hot day, the radio is really frapped out..... lots of static in the speakers. It only does it when it is hot out. Has anyone else had this problem, and if you did what can I do to fix it?

when i started having problems i just called crutchfield and replaced the whole thing..... much happier now. it was an easy job... speakers, amp and radio about 3 hours time.
