need some advice I have to remove the nut on the rear end on my 98 2500 to replace the axel shaft seal does anyone know the correct socket size to be used , I did a search and came up with two different sizes and also need to know if it is a six point or more ? thanks

If you cannot find the right one at your parts store, check at a truck & trailer supply store (for big rigs). They usually have an excellent selection of those big axle nut sockets whereas auto parts stores seldom carry anything that large.

If you can't find one locally (they run $15-$30), I'd be happy to ship mine to you to use and return; I'll even include a return shipping label :). Paypal that shipping cost when you return it or toss a check in the box.
