I had rear caliber lock up on our 04 3500 drw, after replaceing it and bleeding it the brakes felt soft so i went back and bled then all again and they still feel soft. I got a power bleeder and did an RFI bleed on the whole system and they still feel soft. Any help?

Why didn't you post it in the Gen III forum where owners familiar with the '04s can see it and offer assistance?

The caliper was installed correctly with the bleeder facing up. I know it's a stupid question, but you never know what mechanics are thinking sometimes!

Bleeder screw needs to face up, your trapping in air at the top. Parts guy gave you wrong caliper. Guy didn't know his left from his right!!!!!

Yes, the calipers are specific right or left. You should replace both sides anyway so get the other one and swap. If one side locked the other is likely to do so also.

I replaced the upside down one and that was the issue, as for replaceing the other one it was just done last year. Thanks for the input

Did i miss some thing here? Im not sure what gloves have to with brakes but i guess if i ever need rideing gloves i know where to go.
