i just got brand new tires for my truck. :D mt's for the back and at's for the front... i'm not getting stuck anymore!! Oo. but one problem. everytime i turned the wheel the tires rubbed against the platice molding that goes around the fender on the front. i knew the front end was sagging alittle but i didn't think i would cause i problem. cause the tires on the front cause 100$ i took the plastic molding off. i think i have to put it back on to pass inspection (no i still haven't passed!!. . 4th try) i read some post about soft ride springs with 1. 5 inch raise on them. they said that it would pick up the front end to stock level, will this solve my rubbing problem when i turn. it only happens when i turn too. when i drive straight down the road no rubbing

does anyone know where i can get them? and what's there price??

i searched the forms but with no luck.

Edit: just realized your sig said you have a 2wd truck. . sorry. I came across some posts saying moog made coils for the 2wd ones that work well.

I just got the 1" ones from summit racing ( http://www.summitracing.com ). They are made by skyjacker. The springs are the D100CS, I also got a ubolt and bushing kit in a separate part number I can't remember right now. (found it in a search either here or on DTR)

They didn't raise the truck that much an inch would be the max. I think next time I would go with the 2. 5" ones thought they might be a hare to much? Would most likely need a longer front brake line and shocks to use them as well. From what I could see the front driveshaft CV might have to be ground for clearance with the 2. 5s as well.

Anyway it does ride nicer. Still firm but not bone jarring like the stockers were.

The springs were $150 each and the bushing/bolts kit was $50, I think the total with shipping was around $370 give or take.

The Moog Super Duty coil springs, #7226s I believe, is what you want. They will put the front end of the truck up to where it is level with the rear. They have a good ride and more travel than the stock set. I am running 33" tires on mine and they only rub if I bounce it on a turn. The rub will depend on your tire width also. The 255's only touch on the inside of the front part of the fender flare. I trimmed it and no more problems.
