Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) software revision

My brotherinlaw just got a 99 2500 and under the hood is a label saying chrysler software revision feb 12 2002. what is this revision.

You get the software sticker if you have your ECM reflashed at the dealer. It is commonly done if you have the "fast idle" reflash done as I did.

Reflash

On the sticker there should be the TSB number that called for the reflash or the reason for the update. If it has the number all u have to do is look up the TSB number and that will tell u what the revision was.
