The link I gave up top has all the info about viewing and glasses and making a pinhole box etc etc.
I ran up to the welding supply store and he said he's seen peak business and is moving shades like candy. He was all out of what I needed, but he's been advised to give out coated 5&9 and stack them. So that's what I got. 2 sets. I taped them together with clear packing tape so I'm set. It's actually pretty neat. Not all I need is to figure out how to get Mr. iPhone to focus manually. 55% here and the stacked welding glass plates worked . Very good clarity. Beautiful weather in the Laguna Mt's made for a memorable day.

How's this for coincidence. We came up here to Salem for my high school reunion and to see the grandkids. This morning my wife saw the next eclipse will be in 2024 and Killeen, TX is under the centerline. At least central TX roads are adequate for the influx of visitors, OR was a mess.
