ez out fifth wheel hitch?

5th wheel and gooseneck

I want to start searching for a solar panel to install on my Lance slide in to keep the two deep cycle batteries toped off. What should I be looking for? minimum output, brand, construction???? I'm compleatly new to solar panels so suggest away.

You could also take a look at this site icpglobal.com they have a lot of info and links to where you can purchase them. I installed the 30 watt system on my slide in last year and they worked out better than I expected.

Thanks for the info

WOW!, I can't believe all the energy this post has generated! Sorry, could't resist:D

Thanks guys, that gives me allot of reading and learning to do. :p

I purchased all of my stuff from RV Solar Electric (url posted a few messages back). I have two 120 watt panels and a 16A charge controller, all Kyocera brand.

Then in the camper (2000 Lance 1030) have a single Trojan Group 31, and then in the wheel well area, I have two Trojan T-105 6V golf cart batteries wired in parallel (series? I always get the terms mixed up), so between the three batteries, I have almost 300 AH of capacity. That's more than enough time to run most anything I want off my 1500 watt inverter... TV/Satellite, microwave, etc.

RobG, could you describe what you have to connect the two in the bed to the camper. I am thinking of a connector I see on electric fork lifts and portable welders.
