I recently sold my stage three injectors (100 horse, 30% over from Industrial Injection). They made a huge difference in my truck, especially with a comp. The guy that bought them put them in today and said that other than a little smoke, no change in power  . He has an 01 ETH, comp and wastegate blocked. He does not have a fuel pressure gauge, and that's the only thing I can guess would be the problem (no pressure)

Any ideas as to what could make injectors work great in my ETH, and then not work in his? I offered to buy them back if he's not happy, but I think we would both rather figure out what's going on.

Thanks in Advance,

Matt

Does he have a box or other type of boost fooler. If not, it could be that the truck is cutting back because it senses an overboost condition. At least that is my understanding of what you need to do if you run larger injectors without a box, is to have a boost fooler of some type. I had a comp before I put in injectors so I never gave it much thought. Another possibility is to make sure your fule pumps are good. If they are not working properly I have read of stories on here where people were losing power due to underfueling from the VP44.

I am sure there will be better posts from guys that know more of the details and can help point you more solidly in where to look.

he needs a guage first and foremost, so tell him to do it, before he blames the injectors for takin out his vp44-------------does he have the pump wire tapped--if not then that could be a big difference... chris

When I added my injectors... mach 2's ~105hp I couldn't get my clutch to hold, so there's definitly a problem somewhere.

To eliminate the injectors you can pull them and have them pop tested at your local injection shop, this will test for pop pressure and spray pattern. All it takes is a little bit of dirt or debris ( from fire wall ) and they will lose there edge. Costs about $20 to test. Other than that, boost fooler, inadaquate fuel supply, failing pump could also be the problem.
