Twelve years ago this month, I bought a 2003 to pull our Travel Trailer. It had only 15,000 miles on it and I loved it. Shortly after, I joined TDR and began learning about my truck. Over the years, I added lots of goodies from Genos, we upgraded trailers to a 35 foot Excel 5th wheel and we went on the road full time for several years. The truck did an outstanding job for us and took us all over the US including a summer drive to and from Alaska. From time to time I posted questions on TDR asking for advice or recomendations. I always received helpful advice from a number of members.

Last fall, due to health limitations we decided it was time to sell the fifth wheel and the truck. First we sold the trailer. Then, in December we traded the truck for a new Dodge Grand Caravan. It is a nice van,but I sure miss the truck. When I sold it, it had 250,000 miles on it and it was still running great.

i received my last TDR today and enjoyed reviewing it. My subscription has expired so farewell to all the helpful TDR Members I have met and talked to over the years.

Always tough to get to that point in your life when you have to say goodbye to things you enjoyed. My wife and I hope to be soon travelling the roads you've already been. Best wishes

Considering the truck you have, you and I must have started about the same time!
I wish you the best of luck in your future Bill.

Take care,
Scott

We barely knew ye here, but glad we helped you make a good run.
Always great to read good stories about our trucks doing what they were designed to do.
As you open a new chapter, I hope you have plenty of good times ahead, and can treasure the good times you've rolled up.
Gonna be tough to give up my Ram someday.

Best Regards

Only few questions and 235,000 miles speaks well about the truck and the care you gave it. Glad you picked the right truck and glad it took you around to see this amazing country of ours. Take care of yourself. Hope the Caravan serves you well too. I'm 63 and have had my '07, 5.9 since new. It has served us well pulling our old bumper pull and now our 27ft 5th wheel. I have a 21 year old neighbor kid down the street from me that I have promised to give him "First Dibbs" if and when I sell my truck. Take care my friend.
