You have to love it. There was a truck on Truck Universe that had a 6. 7 with 280K trouble free towing miles on it and all the internal's passed new engine specs.

TO be honest I couldn't tell you the weight never really weighed it. Guy taking the trees down with the Crane said the three logs weighed about 11k. The Cab and Chassis does make a huge difference. Cant wait for camping season to get started back up here in New england so I can get some miles towing long distances
 
I love seeing these trucks being put to work! THAT'S what separates the boy trucks from the men trucks. Also, it seems that the harder you use them, the less problems you have with them, 6. 7 or 5. 9.
I have a 98. 5 at work, 5speed c&c that has been overweight and seen hard labor for 100% of it's 250,000 miles, and still has never had any mechanical problems. In fact, I had it at Cummins to go through it and adjust the valves a few years ago and they said everything was in spec except that a few valves were a few thousandths out. Just incredible!
